What is line segment

In this blog we are going to discuss about a geometry concept what is a line segment?
To know more about it you can go for math online help.
If a line begins with a point and ends with a point. Line segments are normally labeled with two letters corresponding to their endpoints, say A and B
A line segment is a part of a line that is bounded by two end points, and contains every point on the line between its end points
The division of a line with two end points is called a line segment. Now see the above mention diagram. We shell denote a line segment UV only. Let us take two points D and E and join them. We can join them as shown in figures From the above figure, we call it a line segment DE. The points D and E are called end-points of the line segment DE. We can also name it as line segment DE. Important thing about line segments: (a) A line segment has a definite length. (b) A line segment has two end-points. To know more about this concept go for free geometry help online.Next time we will discuss more about geometry concept.
